NACWA Awards Honor Excellence in Environmental Protection
(RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif.) – The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) today recognized 40 utilities and 10 individuals with National Environmental Achievement Awards. The NEAA program recognizes individuals and NACWA member agencies that have made outstanding contributions to environmental protection and the clean water community in 11 different categories.
"The work that public clean water agencies perform every day is vital to the existence of communities across the nation," NACWA CEO Adam Krantz said. "The National Environment Achievement Awards are a salute to their dedicated environmental stewardship and a well-deserved spotlight on their critical role.”
NACWA also honored federal and state public servants for continuing awareness of the challenges faced by public clean water agencies.
