KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo city commissioners approved a wastewater pipe project during Monday night's meeting that aims to alleviate odors circulating in the northside neighborhood.
An agreement between the city and Graphic Packaging International, or GPI, will allow the replacement of wastewater infrastructure, according to the city.
Specifically, the approximately $3 million project is slated to replace the existing City of Kalamazoo-owned Industrial Force Main, Industrial Chamber, and Clarifier Effluent Piping.
