Not for the team at South Fort Collins Sanitation District. Everything all 45,000 people in the district flush down the toilet or rinse down the sink is our responsibility, including the things that shouldn’t go into our system.

Within the district we have more than 400 miles of collection line we diligently monitor to maintain a high-quality, functioning wastewater system. While most items make it down your drain, they often get stuck later in the system resulting in damaging clogs and backups.
