Water Utility Climate Alliance Offers "Building Resilience" Training in August
(June 19, 2018) - The Water Utility Climate Alliance (WUCA) is planning a pair of two-day trainings in 2018 to address Building Resilience to a Changing Climate: A Technical Training in Water Sector Utility Decision Support. The technical training will focus on the use and integration of climate science in long-term adaptation planning, decision-making under conditions of uncertainty, and communication skills for relaying this information.
The first two-day training will be held August 8-9, 2018, in Los Angeles, CA, at the Metropolitan Water District of Sothern California. The primary target audiences for the training are utility staff and managers engaged in long-term planning and adaptation to changing environmental conditions, and technical consultants providing related support to water sector utilities.
