Clean Water Current

(November 7, 2017) - NACWA and a coalition of other water sector groups that have been developing shared recommendations for water infrastructure participated in a Congressional Roundtable last week to discuss ideas for advancing infrastructure investment. House Water Resources & Environment Subcommittee Chairman Garret Graves (R-LA) and Ranking Member Grace Napolitano (D-CA), Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH), Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), Rep. John Katko (R-NY), Rep. John Faso (R-NY), Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) and Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) all joined the discussion.

Association staff presented recommendations and answered questions from the Representatives and their staff. NACWA thanks the Members for their attention to this critical issue and looks forward to continued progress on advancing water infrastructure as a national priority this Congress.
