Henry B. Plant Museum
This museum transports you through educational exhibits and events to the late Victorian period, the beginning of Florida’s tourist industry, and the early years of the City of Tampa. 

Lettuce Lake Park
this 240-acre site has proven to be one of the most successful parks in the County, with well over one million visitors annually. More than half of the park’s property lies in the natural floodplain of the Hillsborough River, consisting of a hardwood swamp forest

SS American Victory
Aboard the American Victory Ship, visitors can come aboard a fully-functioning 1940s era steamship.  They experience an unforgettable voyage of discovery and relive history by visiting cavernous three level cargo holds, radio and gyro rooms, hospital, galley, weaponry, steering stations, flying bridge, signaling equipment, wheelhouse, mess halls, and much more.

Tampa Electric Manatee Viewing Center
At the Big Bend Power Station in Apollo Beach, manatees seek refuge in the power station's discharge panel, where clean, warm Tampa Bay saltwater flows. When the bay gets too chilly for the manatees, they retreat to this space for warmth.   When your eyes aren't on the water, turn your attention to the center's other attractions, including a mangrove exhibit, a butterfly garden and a pretty impressive gift shop.

Tampa Bay History Center
Spanning 60,000 square feet and ideally situated on Tampa's waterfront, the history center showcases 12,000 years of Florida's history through three floors of exhibits, educational films and interactive displays. Learn about Tampa's cigar industry and immigrant communities in Ybor City with the center's "Cigar City" exhibit, which features a model of a West Tampa cigar factory

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo
covering 60 acres, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo boasts natural habitats, educational shows and interactive animal encounters, water play areas, and a handful of rides. Here you'll find a variety of animals from around the world, including African elephants, koalas, orangutans, penguins, and tigers, among other species. 

The Tampa Theatre
Built in 1926 as one of America’s most elaborate movie palaces, the Tampa Theatre today is a passionately protected and beloved community landmark. Designed by famed theater architect John Eberson, it is a superior example of his “atmospheric” style of design.
