About
Dealing with Disruption: A New Approach for the Water Sector
Utilities are facing unprecedented pressure from both a leadership and reputational standpoint stemming from emerging contaminants/PFAS, biosolids management, affordability, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and workforce issues among others. To convert these challenges into genuine opportunities to advance as a sector, utility leaders are going to have to get out of their “comfort zones” and meet these disruptive forces through strong messaging, new partnerships, and an openness to learning from the perceptions of organizations outside the public water sector. NACWA’s Utility Leadership Conference will bring these voices together to help better understand these disruptive trends and get ahead of them to ensure clean water utilities can continue to deliver unparalleled service to their communities and customers.
