NEW Water Reaches Out With Video: Water Knows No Boundaries

In the fall of 2016, NACWA Member Agency, NEW Water in Green Bay, WI developed a four-minute outreach video about its Silver Creek Project entitled, Water Knows No Boundaries.
The video is narrated by US Congressman Reid Ribble (WI-08) and included commentary from Cristina Danforth, Oneida Tribal Chairwoman. The video was developed to demonstrate the partnerships that have been developed throughout the project, and the success in implementing change on the agricultural landscape.
The video was distributed to numerous stakeholders and partners and was shared widely on social media. It is currently posted on the NEW Water website and YouTube. NEW Water secured a grant from the Fund for Lake Michigan to produce this video.
Water Knows No Boundaries has received wide acclaim and continues to be used by numerous entities looking at innovative ways to improve area waters, and those interested in water quality issues. In 2018, the project was awarded a NACWA National Environmental Achievement Award.
