NACWA Makes Case for Water Infrastructure Funding in Water Week Op-Ed
As part of NACWA’s advocacy outreach around Water Week 2018, a special op-ed written by David St. Pierre, NACWA President and Executive Director of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, was published in The Hill newspaper, one of Washington DC’s most read and most influential “beltway” news outlets.
The article succinctly laid out the case for the clean water sector’s call for increases in water infrastructure funding, providing support for the National Water Policy Fly-In — where hundreds of water stakeholders from around the country gathered on Capitol Hill for face-to-face meetings with congressional members.
