Clean Water Current

David Ross officially began his tenure as EPA’s new Office of Water, Assistant Administrator on January 8, though his confirmation by the Senate took place in December of last year. NACWA sent Mr. Ross a congratulatory letter on his confirmation, and looks forward to working with him on a variety of clean water issues, including responsible regulatory streamlining and a greater use of collaborative, holistic watershed solutions. NACWA is presently working to set up a meeting with Ross early in his tenure to discuss the clean water community’s key issues and concerns, and we are also hopeful he may be able to attend a portion of NACWA’s upcoming 2018 Winter Conference.
