Phoenix Water Recognized By National Association Of Clean Water Agencies For Continued Operational Excellence In Wastewater Treatment

Phoenix Water was honored this week by The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) Peak Performance Awards. The NACWA recognized the City of Phoenix Water Services Department for continued environmental and operational excellence.
Phoenix Water's dedicated employees have earned 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant a Silver Award and 23rd Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant a Platinum Award. The 23rd Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant has received the Platinum Award for the last 11 years.
"To be honored amongst an impressive group of utilities contributing to water quality, makes me so proud. It's not an easy job to do but we know how valuable it is," said Nazario Prieto, Assistant Director Phoenix Wastewater Services.
