DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — After nearly five years of maintaining its prices for water and wastewater services, the water utility that oversees areas of Sunland Park and Santa Teresa, N.M. announced Monday that it will be increasing its rates to keep up with rising operational costs.

The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) announced Monday that it will raise rates for water and wastewater services to its customers in Sunland Park and Santa Teresa, N.M. for the first time since July 1, 2019.

The rate increase was approved during CRRUA's regular meeting on Monday and will go into effect July 1.
