Plan to Engage Virtually During Water Week 2021, April 25th – May 1st!

Dec 2, 2020

(December 2, 2020) – With the continued uncertainly around COVID-19, the National Water Policy Fly-In partners have made the decision to not hold an in-person event in 2021. While we won’t be gathering in person, we will be working as Fly-In partners to bring you an informative, engaging Water Week virtual experience.

With much of the work of D.C. and Capitol Hill being done remotely over the past eight months, we are confident that the virtual format of Water Week 2021 will successfully raise the profile of the water sector in D.C. and reach policymakers at a critical time. And we are hopeful that a virtual Water Week will reach new levels of engagement from across the water sector nationwide and lend our collective membership a strong voice during these challenging times.

With changes in Congress and the White House coming in January, there is a lot of buzz around federal water policy – and your engagement will be vital to advancing water sector’s priorities such as increasing federal infrastructure investment, addressing water affordability, supporting water research & development and making our critical infrastructure more resilient.

The pandemic has underscored the critical role the water sector plays in ensuring the health and well-being for all communities, and 2021 will be a critical year for engaging with federal policymakers.

As a valued member of the water community, we put your health and safety above all else. We eagerly look forward to seeing you in person when we can and appreciate your continued involvement and support as we all navigate these challenging times.

Stay posted for additional information in early 2021 on Water Week virtual events, federal advocacy, and outreach materials. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@waterweek.us.
