(September 23, 2020)  NACWA hosted the latest Hot Topics in Clean Water webinar last Wednesday, September 16 with a focus the ongoing battle over “flushable” wipes.

The webinar highlighted the tremendous strides that the #ToiletsAreNotTrashcans campaign has made recently, as well as outlined a path forward for the clean water sector as we work collectively to educate the public about the dangers of flushing wipes.

The speakers provided insight into the current state of legislation, regulation and litigation of flushable wipes, as well as communications and public education strategies that NACWA and its members can avail themselves of in order to amplify our message.
