NACWA Talks Wipes and Contaminants at New England Pretreatment Event
(October 23, 2019) – The New England Regional Pretreatment Coordinators Association (NERPCA) held its annual workshop October 22-23, with over 150 attendees from public clean water utilities and state regulatory agencies. The workshop covered a wide range of issues and case studies and included many presentations and discussions related to PFAS.
NACWA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs, Cynthia Finley, provided an update on recent NACWA activities on PFAS legislation, along with updates on water reuse, wipes, pharmaceuticals, and other pretreatment-related issues.
NACWA’s annual National Pretreatment & Pollution Prevention Workshop has been set for May 13-15, 2019, in Nashville, TN, with an optional training day scheduled for May 12. More information about the Workshop will be coming soon!
