Join NACWA and WEF for the Utility Leaders’ Afternoon at WEFTEC 2024

Oct 3, 2024

If you will be attending WEFTEC 2024 next week in New Orleans, please join NACWA and WEF at our annual joint Utility Leaders’ Afternoon program, which will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 1:00 to 3:30 PM CT in the La Nouvelle Orleans Ballroom A-B at the Morial Convention Center.

This year’s program will tackle pressing challenges facing clean water utility leaders. The first panel, made up of leading utility executives, will discuss how utility leaders can position themselves as more effective communicators. The second panel will explore how to move the water sector towards a circular water economy, with a focus on how effective regulation and coordination between the public and private sector are critical to achieving the circular water economy transition.

The Utility Leaders’ Afternoon will also feature the 2024 WEF Wastewater Surveillance Champion Ceremony and the annual Utility of the Future Today Recognition Ceremony, which will celebrate the performance of 45 utilities for innovation in community engagement, watershed stewardship and resource recovery. A reception with light refreshments will follow.

There is no need to register for the Utility Leaders’ Afternoon – just make sure it is on your calendar and plan to join your fellow clean water utility leaders for this great event!
