Clean Water Current
NACWA Joins RCAP National Conference
NACWA staff joined the Rural Community Assistance Partnership (RCAP) this week for its annual conference in Columbus, OH. The event brought together over 200 Technical Assistance Providers (TAPs) from RCAP’s regional partners and rural leaders from across the country to connect and share best practices.
The conference provided an opportunity for representatives from federal and state governments to collaborate with local leaders to discuss how TAPs can better utilize partnerships to help small and rural communities grow and thrive. One of the primary themes for the week revolved around supporting communities in their quest to capitalize on funding and other resources provided through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The conference also provided training sessions on a host of issues ranging from community engagement and conflict resolution to rate setting and asset management.
NACWA appreciates its productive relationship with RCAP to advance clean water collaboration across utilities and communities from small to large. NACWA was pleased to sponsor this event and support the efforts RCAP undertakes to help deliver clean and safe water nationwide.
Please contact Tony Frye, NACWA Director of Legislative Affairs, with any questions or to discuss further.
