NACWA Celebrates #InfrastructureWeek, September 14-21
(September 16, 2020) – NACWA is joining this week with water sector partners like the Value of Water Coalition and otherwater and core infrastructure organizations, to celebrate Infrastructure Week 2020.
This year’s programming, United for Infrastructure 2020: A Week to Champion America’s Infrastructure is spearheaded by United for Infrastructure, a non-profit that works to educate the public and legislators about the importance of infrastructure to the nation’s economy, workers and communities.
The week-long programming kicked-off on Monday, September 14, with a slate of virtual events and will continue throughout the week. You can find the entire calendar of events here.
If you would like to get involved, United for Infrastructure has a number of ways you can do so. You can find more information, including advocacy resources and social shareables on their website.
NACWA is proud to support this initiative to bring more attention and federal funding to America’s public clean water infrastructure. If you have questions or are looking for ways to get involved, please contact David Zielonka, NACWA’s Manager of Media and Communications.
