Clean Water Current

(December 19, 2017) – NACWA’s Industry of the Future Workgroup met via conference call on December 14 and discussed key issues it plans to address during the coming year.  Among the items addressed were continued expansion of the Utility of the Future (UOTF) Recognition Program, upcoming joint webinars with EPA around UOTF and community service issues, additional growth of NACWA’s peer to peer learning opportunities, and workforce development issues. 

The Workgroup’s next meeting will be in person as part of NACWA’s 2018 Winter Conference in early February.  Members interested in the Workgroup’s activities should contact Nathan Gardner-Andrews, NACWA’s Chief Advocacy Officer.
