Registration Fees & Information

Be sure to register and submit payment by Monday, November 4, 2019 to receive the early bird registration rate.  Advance registrations must be received by Monday, January 20, 2020.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees may not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org. 

Full conference registration fee includes access to all activities Tuesday through Friday, including but not limited to: committee meetings; plenary sessions; and, evening social events including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are: light food and beverage at the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening receptions.  There will also be morning and afternoon beverage service Tuesday afternoon through Friday morning.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by January 20, 2020.  After January 20, 2020, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied if a cancellation request is submitted on or before Friday, January 31, 2020.   

There on after, registration is considered final and no refund will be available.  Submit all requests via e-mail to registration@nacwa.org.  

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the Conference.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.  We do request business attire on Wednesday night. 

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.  

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

The views and opinions expressed on NACWA’s social media sites and links to other Internet resources do not necessarily represent those of NACWA. NACWA cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information posted by external parties.   

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2020 Winter Conference and you can receive a letter of certification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk at the conference and leave your business card or email Ebony Scott after the Conference and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have a spouse or family member joining you in Atlanta?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse and guest lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues. 

Ground Transportation

The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is approximately 19 miles from the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives: 

Uber:    An UberX from ATL to the hotel is an estimated $28.   

Lyft:    A Lyft from ATL to the hotel is an estimated $30 – 35. 

MARTA:    Head to the Domestic Terminal (between the North and South baggage claims). Board the gold line train Northbound to Doraville Station. Stay on the train for 14 stops and depart at the Lenox Transit Station. The hotel is an approximate 2 minute walk from the transit stop. A one-way trip from the airport to the hotel is about $3.50. 

Taxi Cab:    The estimate fare from ATL to the hotel is approximately $42. 

Atlanta Shuttle:    A one-way trip is an estimated $30 and roundtrip is an estimated $50.  Onsite bookings are available. If you wish to book your ride ahead of time, click here or call 770.801.8000.  

Car Rental:    Avis Rent-A-Car is NACWA’s official car rental company for this meeting.  Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is T563400. 

Hotel Parking:    Self-parking is available at $32 per day. Valet parking is also available at $42 per day with in and out privileges.
