(November 7, 2017) – NACWA participated in a colloquium Nov. 2 – 3, sponsored by the University Research Corridor in Michigan, to brainstorm new approaches to modernize water infrastructure for the 21^st century.  The event brought together academics, practitioners, government officials, and NGO representatives to engage in a series of exercises and discussions to propose new ideas and networks that can better address the growing water infrastructure challenges facing Michigan and the nation.  The meeting will lead to a report and a set of proposed recommendations that will not only benefit communities in Michigan, but will also have value for utilities nationwide.
