The Miraculous Staircase - Legend has it that a man appeared at the chapel looking for work and was offered the job of building a staircase inside the chapel. After completing the staircase, the gentleman disappeared. No one had a chance to thank him or pay him. The staircase has no visible means of support. And apparently, the wood that was used to build it is not native to New Mexico. Many wonder who built the staircase, what type of wood was used, and the physics of the staircase in general. Expert carpenters are still perplexed to this day.
