Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District hosts annual Clean Water Fest, virtually

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- What happens when you flush? Where does all that rain go from the massive Labor Day storm? The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District wants to show you, but this year will be virtually as the annual Clean Water Fest goes remote because of the pandemic.
The annual event normally draws thousands of people to the Southerly Wastewater Treatment plant, for treats, tours and more.
“While we’re disappointed that COVID-19 has changed our plans this year, we’re excited to share our important work in this new, virtual environment," Sewer District CEO Kyle Dreyfuss-Wells said in a news release.
