NACWA Financial Survey Results Confirm Financial Strength of the Public Clean Water Community
(July 31, 2018) - The Executive Highlights and raw data from NACWA’s 2017 Financial Survey are now available on NACWA’s website. The findings of NACWA’s triennial survey indicate continued financial strength among clean water utilities as a whole, but spending to address regulatory cost drivers and planned capital spending in the coming years are putting pressure on the cost of service.
One hundred twenty-six (126) public agencies responded to the survey, representing a population served of 81 million and more than 18 billion gallons daily flow capacity.
The Executive Highlights document captures the main findings and key information from the survey for members to share with stakeholders. NACWA will be mailing a hardcopy of this document to every member in the coming weeks and can provide additional copies on request. The final full report document will be available on NACWA’s website by late August 2018.
